Are you preparing for surgery, or post surgery and seeking support? Samantha has partnered with Ashlynn Douglass-Barnes, LCSW and will be hosting a virtual support group to assist with education around pre operative Bariatric Surgery, however post surgical are welcome for reviewing strategies for success and receiving peer support – This is not only a basic talk therapy group however! If choosing to engage, Samantha is an Art Therapist and will offer a suggested list of creative arts materials once registered and creative time for whoever chooses to stick around after the education portion is completed in each session.

Bariatric Psychiatric Evaluations
Are you considering bariatric surgery? Let’s talk it over! I am happy to help you make sure you are ready for this big step. I will help evaluate and assess where you are in your weight loss journey and help you be successful.
Evaluations and assessments should be completed in 1-2 sessions and will be submitted to insurance, in the event you don’t have insurance I will have a cash rate, please keep an eye for updates as I am still determining the details. You may check with your insurance for out of network benefits and I can provide you with a super bill.
Letters
$50 additional fee cash pay, not submitted to insurance
Professional counselor, Art Therapist and Board Certified Bariatric Counselor through the American Association of Bariatric Counseling. Samantha receives continued monthly supervision specific to this population through Ashlyn Douglass-Barnes, LCSW at “Bariatric Psychiatric Training”.
